PROJECT: CES 2020
My Role: Head of Design: Booth Design and Visual Productions
At CES 2020 in Las Vegas, NEON made its debut, capturing attention with its lifelike, AI-powered digital avatars. Presented by Samsung’s STAR Labs, NEON’s display featured virtual humans that could exhibit realistic facial expressions, gestures, and conversational skills, pushing the boundaries of AI-driven human interaction. Attendees observed NEON’s impressive ability to respond to verbal cues, maintain eye contact, and adapt expressions in real-time, creating a distinctly human-like experience. While still a concept, the demonstration at CES 2020 showcased NEON’s potential to serve as personalized digital companions or customer service avatars, opening doors to a new era in interactive, emotionally aware AI.
